As an earlier adapter to internet marketing I have found effective online channels to expose properties being sold. Property specific url’s ex(www.1234MainSt.com) that would be used on all print, signage and email correspondence. As always properties will be syndicated to the large Real Estate portals (Realtor.com, Coldwell Banker, Trulia and Zillow to name a few) I have profiles on each of these sites that makes it easy for potential buyers in contact me and get correct and concise information on the property. An additional service I offer is detailed traffic reports outlining where potential buyers are coming from and how the follow up progress , keeping communication with you the seller is extremely important to me.
When a property is ready to be marketed I have a extensive list of investors and potential buyers that I send information to so I may promote more exposure for you.
Print media is becoming less used for marketing real estate but still is important. I still feel it is an additional way to expose your property and use local papers and magazines that make marketing sense. I also make use of Just Listed postcards. Just Listed postcards create a buzz in the community and further exposes your property to potential buyers.
MLS
Most properties are entered in to the MLS (Multipal Listing Service) getting distributed to hundreds of members and recipricating Real Estate Boards around the Bay Area and beyond. With the additional exposure it makes for a quick sale. In some cases properties can be exempt from the MLS for privacy and confidentiality.
